Had great time there.
room was big with comfy bed.
Recommend to everyone. Delicious food and great atmosphere.
Great English breakfast; free use of the spa area; good connections to Edinburgh and Glasgow. Recommendable!
Large parking lot, friendly reception, very large modern rooms with bathroom, very good food and service in the restaurant and bar.
Good rich breakfast
Bad service at breakfast; I was not offered coffee, because too many people were having breakfast at the same time and the staff was hopelessly overstrained
The breakfast was very good and varied. On request, the omelette can even be freshly prepared free of charge according to your own ideas. Freshly squeezed orange juice would improve the already high level.
The carpets are getting on in years all over the hotel.
breakfast.very British. big room
Lack of friendliness at the reception desk
The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Sausage and cheese are only available on request - but free of charge. Also the wellness area with a great whirlpool was very nice.
Carpeting in the corridors and rooms is already a bit "worn out".
It was my wedding night so was very happy with my stay as the facilities were great.
Friendliness and efficiency of reception staff; Quality of room service breakfast.
Poor quality of breakfast in restaurant; Slow service in restaurant in evening; possibly insufficient staff on duty; Main meal not as described; Drain smell from wash hand basin; Hospitality tray not refilled.
The ambience was lovely, we really enjoyed just sitting in the lounge and watching the world go by. The hotel has lovely views and is conveniently located.
The food in the restaurant was a bitter disappointment. All three courses had to go back.
fairly quiet, pleasant staff
long walks to get to restaurant etc due to size of hotel, had to upgrade to enable us to watch golf (masters) surprising since it is a golf hotel!?unable to use heated chairs in leisure facility due to inconsiderate guests ie on them for 1Hr +! should be restriction.
The Hotel in general was of a high standard but the part I enjoyed best was the leisure facilities. I would have no hesitation about returning to Westerwood Hotel at a later date.
The room at times felt a little stuffy and would benefit from air conditioning
In at 7pm, out at 8am so not an expert on the facilities but extremely comfortable with friendly, proficient staff. Excellent sized room, very good shower, good quality towel and large, if you wanted it, well cooked breakfast! Happy to recommend.
The staff were very friendly and cheerful also very happy to help when needed. The facilities were great and had a deep muscle tissue massage which was well worth the money, Had meal in the bar and grill on the friday night and a meal in the ala carte resteraunt onthe sat and the only gripe would be that the meals didnt seam to be four star quality. Apart from this really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break. Another positive was that there were children in the hotel but you wouldnt have known it they were so quiet. The room was very nice aswell and the bottle of Champagne went down a treat :-)
I enjoyed my steak and ale pie on the friday night but my husband felt the fish could have had longer. A La carte food wasnt very great. Pancakes were good.
